Flaky, tender salmon smothered in a creamy, sweet, and spicy sauce that’s baked into the fish for maximum flavor. Perfect for busy weeknights or entertaining guests.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 3 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Sriracha
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce (optional)
  • 2 green onions, sliced (for garnish)
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with aluminum foil or parchment paper.
  2. In a small mixing bowl, combine mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, Sriracha, honey, garlic powder, and soy sauce (if using). Stir until smooth and creamy.
  3. Place the salmon fillets onto the prepared baking sheet, skin-side down if applicable. Pat them dry with a paper towel.
  4. Generously coat each salmon fillet with the Bang Bang sauce using a pastry brush or spoon.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, depending on the thickness of the fillets, until the salmon is flaky and opaque.
  6. Turn on the broiler for the last 2 minutes to caramelize the sauce slightly. Watch closely to avoid burning.
  7. Sprinkle sliced green onions and sesame seeds over the salmon before serving. Enjoy hot!

Notes

For a milder flavor, reduce the amount of Sriracha. Broiling at the end adds a smoky depth to the sauce. Check the smallest fillet for doneness first to avoid overcooking.
