These sliders combine melty cheese, tender roast beef, and buttery garlic goodness for the ultimate party food. Perfect for gatherings and game days!

Ingredients

  • Slider buns
  • Thinly sliced deli roast beef
  • Provolone cheese
  • Unsalted butter
  • Garlic cloves, minced
  • Worcestershire sauce
  • Beef broth
  • Onion powder
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Optional: Fresh parsley or dried oregano

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish lightly with butter or cooking spray.
  2. If slider buns aren’t pre-sliced, carefully slice them in half horizontally, keeping the top and bottom halves intact.
  3. Place the bottom halves of the buns in the prepared baking dish. Add a layer of roast beef, followed by a layer of provolone cheese. Top with the top halves of the buns.
  4. In a skillet over medium heat, melt the unsalted butter. Stir in minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Cook for 1-2 minutes, or until the garlic is fragrant.
  5. Use a pastry brush to generously spread the garlic butter over the tops of the slider buns.
  6. Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 15 minutes. Then remove the foil and bake for an additional 5-7 minutes, or until the tops are golden and the cheese is fully melted.
  7. In the same skillet, combine beef broth, onion powder, and a pinch of salt. Simmer for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until slightly reduced.
  8. Remove the sliders from the oven. Slice them apart and serve warm with the au jus dipping sauce on the side.

Notes

[‘Covering the sliders with foil ensures they stay soft and don’t dry out before the cheese melts.’, ‘Use fresh garlic for the best flavor in the garlic butter sauce.’, ‘Assemble the sliders ahead of time and refrigerate until ready to bake.’, ‘Provolone is the classic cheese choice, but you can mix cheeses like cheddar and Gruyere for a unique twist.’, ‘If you prefer a crunchier texture, lightly toast the bottom halves of the buns before assembling.’]
