Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough (flaky-style preferred)
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • Optional glaze: 1 cup powdered sugar, 2 tablespoons milk, 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix 1 cup of granulated sugar with 2 teaspoons of ground cinnamon until well combined.
  3. In a small bowl, melt 1/2 cup of unsalted butter and let it cool slightly.
  4. Separate the biscuits and cut each one into quarters to create bite-sized pieces.
  5. Dip each piece of dough into the melted butter, then roll it in the cinnamon sugar mixture until fully coated.
  6. Place the coated bites on the parchment-lined baking sheet, leaving space between each piece.
  7. Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the bites are golden brown and puffed up.
  8. Optional: While the bites are baking, whisk together 1 cup of powdered sugar, 2 tablespoons of milk, and 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract for a simple glaze.
  9. Let the bites cool for 5 minutes before drizzling with glaze (if using) and serving warm.

Notes

Use fresh cinnamon for the best flavor. Double the recipe for a crowd, and don’t skip the butter for golden, flavorful bites. If you’re using the glaze, prepare it while the bites are baking.
