These creamy baked turkey sliders combine tender turkey, melted Swiss and cheddar cheese, and a luscious creamy sauce on soft, sweet Hawaiian rolls. Perfect for quick meals, casual gatherings, or game days, they deliver comforting, irresistible flavor with minimal effort.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package (12 rolls) Hawaiian rolls, soft and sweet
  • 1 pound (450g) deli turkey, thinly sliced
  • 8 ounces (225g) Swiss cheese, sliced
  • 4 ounces (115g) sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 4 ounces (115g) cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup (60ml) mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 3 tablespoons (45g) butter, melted
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
  2. Slice the Hawaiian rolls horizontally if not pre-sliced, keeping the entire pack connected like a loaf. Place the bottom halves evenly in the baking dish to form a base layer.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and onion powder. Stir until smooth and creamy.
  4. Spread a generous layer of the creamy sauce over the bottom halves of the rolls, covering all areas.
  5. Layer the turkey slices evenly over the sauce.
  6. Add the Swiss cheese slices on top of the turkey, covering fully.
  7. Sprinkle the shredded sharp cheddar over the Swiss cheese layer.
  8. Place the top halves of the Hawaiian rolls over the cheese layer, pressing gently to compact the sliders.
  9. Brush the melted butter evenly over the tops of the rolls.
  10. Bake uncovered for 20-25 minutes until the cheese bubbles and the tops turn golden brown. Check at 20 minutes to avoid overbaking.
  11. Remove from oven and let the sliders rest for 5 minutes before serving.
  12. Optionally, sprinkle freshly chopped parsley on top for garnish.

Notes

If rolls brown too quickly, tent loosely with foil halfway through baking. For extra gooeyness, add more shredded cheddar on top before baking. Let sliders rest after baking to prevent filling from spilling. Softening cream cheese before mixing is key for a smooth sauce. For gluten-free, use gluten-free Hawaiian-style rolls. For dairy-free, substitute cream cheese with cashew or coconut-based alternatives and use dairy-free cheeses.
