A quick and easy no-bake dessert dip that combines the classic flavor of cookie dough with melty chocolate chips, perfect for parties and snacking.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup (113g) unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup (100g) packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup (50g) granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup (120g) heat-treated all-purpose flour (or oat flour for gluten-free)
  • 1 cup (175g) mini chocolate chips
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Optional: chopped nuts (pecans or walnuts), cinnamon pinch, sea salt flakes

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Spread all-purpose flour evenly on a baking sheet and bake for 5 minutes to heat-treat. Let cool completely.
  2. Soften butter and cream cheese by leaving them at room temperature for about 30 minutes.
  3. In a mixing bowl, beat unsalted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes on medium speed.
  4. Add softened cream cheese and vanilla extract. Beat until smooth and well combined, about 2 minutes.
  5. Gradually add the cooled heat-treated flour and salt. Mix on low speed until fully incorporated and dough thickens.
  6. Gently fold in mini chocolate chips with a spatula, ensuring even distribution.
  7. Chill the dip in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving. If too thick after chilling, stir in 1 tablespoon of milk or cream to loosen.

Notes

Heat-treat the flour to ensure safety since the dip is not baked. Use mini chocolate chips for best texture. Soften butter and cream cheese well to avoid lumps. Chill dip for best flavor and texture. Optional add-ins include nuts, cinnamon, or sea salt flakes. For vegan or gluten-free versions, substitute ingredients accordingly.
