  • 1 cup freshly shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil spray

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. If you’re using a wire rack, place it on top of the baking sheet.
  2. Season the pork chops lightly with salt and pepper on both sides.
  3. In a shallow bowl, beat the eggs until smooth.
  4. In another bowl, combine the shredded cheddar cheese, panko breadcrumbs, and ranch seasoning mix. Mix well to evenly distribute the flavors.
  5. Dip each pork chop into the egg wash, ensuring it’s fully coated.
  6. Press the pork chop into the cheddar-breadcrumb mixture, patting it down to make sure the coating sticks. Flip and repeat on the other side.
  7. Place the coated pork chops onto the prepared baking sheet or wire rack. Give them a light spray of olive oil to help the crust crisp up.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through. The internal temperature should reach 145°F (63°C) for safe consumption.
  9. Remove the pork chops from the oven and let them rest for 5 minutes before serving to lock in the juices.
