Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup (240 ml) heavy whipping cream
  • 1/4 cup (30 g) powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon (5 ml) vanilla extract
  • 1 package (3.4 oz or 96 g) instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 1/3 cup (45 g) rainbow sprinkles (gluten-free preferred)
  • 1/4 cup (30 g) mini marshmallows (optional)
  • Food coloring (optional)
  • 1 cup (240 ml) cold whole milk (for pudding mix)

Instructions

  1. Chill your mixing bowl and beaters in the fridge for about 15 minutes before starting.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the instant vanilla pudding mix and 1 cup (240 ml) cold whole milk until smooth. Let it sit for 5 minutes to thicken.
  3. In the chilled bowl, pour 1 cup (240 ml) heavy whipping cream and beat on medium-high speed until soft peaks form, about 3-4 minutes.
  4. Add 1/4 cup (30 g) powdered sugar and 1 teaspoon (5 ml) vanilla extract to the whipped cream, then whip briefly to combine.
  5. Gently fold the pudding mixture into the whipped cream using a spatula, keeping it airy and fluffy. For rainbow effect, divide fluff into bowls and tint with food coloring.
  6. Spoon a layer of fluff into each serving cup, sprinkle a generous pinch of rainbow sprinkles on top, then add another layer of fluff. Repeat until cups are filled, finishing with sprinkles and optional mini marshmallows.
  7. Refrigerate the fluff cups for at least 1 hour before serving to let flavors meld and texture set.
  8. Serve chilled and enjoy the light, creamy fluff with crunchy sprinkles.

Notes

Chill mixing bowl and beaters before whipping cream for best results. Fold pudding into whipped cream gently to keep fluff airy. Add sprinkles just before serving to maintain crunch. For dairy-free version, use chilled coconut cream and dairy-free pudding mix. If fluff deflates while folding, chill for 10 minutes before continuing.
