A stunning and easy-to-assemble pastel dessert charcuterie slab perfect for Galentine’s Day or any celebration, featuring a variety of sweet treats in soft springtime hues.

Ingredients

  • Pastel macarons (assorted flavors like vanilla, pistachio, raspberry)
  • Mini meringues in pastel shades (pink, mint, lavender)
  • Fresh berries: strawberries (hulled and sliced), blueberries, raspberries
  • Lavender shortbread cookies
  • Rosewater or vanilla flavored marshmallows, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • White chocolate bark topped with edible flowers or pastel sprinkles
  • Fruit jellies (soft, colorful candies)
  • Cream cheese dip: 8 oz softened cream cheese, 2 tablespoons honey, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • Edible flowers (violets, pansies, rose petals)
  • Fresh mint leaves

Instructions

  1. Prepare the serving board by wiping it clean and dry; chill in the fridge for 10 minutes if desired.
  2. Make the cream cheese dip by beating softened cream cheese with honey, vanilla extract, and lemon zest until smooth; transfer to a small dish.
  3. Wash and prep berries by rinsing gently, patting dry, hulling and slicing strawberries; keep berries in a bowl until ready.
  4. Arrange larger items first: place macarons evenly spaced around the board, add lavender shortbread cookies in clusters, and position small bowls with cream cheese dip, marshmallows, and fruit jellies.
  5. Fill in with smaller treats: nestle mini meringues between macarons and cookies, scatter fresh berries in remaining gaps grouped by type, and add pieces of white chocolate bark where space allows.
  6. Add garnishes by sprinkling edible flowers and fresh mint leaves over the entire slab.
  7. Final touches: fill any empty spots with extra berries or marshmallows to balance the look; serve immediately or cover loosely and refrigerate up to 2 hours before serving.

Notes

Chill the serving board before assembling to keep sweets cool longer. Assemble close to serving time to prevent sogginess. Use gluten-free almond cookies instead of lavender shortbread for gluten-free option. Edible flowers add visual appeal and subtle flavor. Store leftovers covered in fridge up to 24 hours; refresh with fresh berries or mint before serving again.
