This creamy, dreamy peppermint swirl fudge is packed with festive flavors and is perfect for holiday parties, gifting, or indulging in a sweet treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 cups white chocolate chips
  • 1 teaspoon peppermint extract
  • A few drops red food coloring
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • Pinch of salt
  • Crushed candy canes for topping

Instructions

  1. Line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving some overhang on the sides for easy removal.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine white chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and butter. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring well after each, until smooth and fully melted (about 1-2 minutes).
  3. Once the mixture is smooth, stir in peppermint extract and a pinch of salt.
  4. Pour half of the mixture into the prepared pan and spread it evenly using a spatula.
  5. Add a few drops of red food coloring to the remaining mixture and stir until it turns a vibrant red.
  6. Pour the red mixture over the white layer in the pan. Use a toothpick or skewer to create swirls by dragging it through the fudge to make a marbled pattern.
  7. Sprinkle the top with crushed candy canes for texture and visual appeal. Press them lightly to ensure they stick.
  8. Chill the fudge in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours, or until firm.
  9. Once set, lift the fudge out using the parchment paper overhang. Cut into squares and enjoy!

Notes

[‘Don’t overheat the chocolate to avoid scorching.’, ‘Use room temperature ingredients to prevent clumping.’, ‘Experiment with colors like green or a combination of red and green for extra festive swirls.’, ‘If the fudge doesn’t set properly, pop it in the freezer for 30 minutes.’]
