Irresistible Sausage Cream Cheese Crescent Bake

A comforting and indulgent dish made with buttery crescent rolls, seasoned sausage, and creamy cheese. Perfect for breakfast, brunch, or as a crowd-pleasing appetizer.

Ingredients

  • 2 cans refrigerated crescent rolls (buttery flavor)
  • 1 pound seasoned ground sausage (spicy or mild)
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • Garlic powder (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook the ground sausage until browned and fully cooked, about 7–10 minutes. Drain excess grease and set aside to cool slightly.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked sausage with softened cream cheese. Stir until well combined and creamy. Add salt, pepper, and garlic powder (if using).
  4. Open one can of crescent rolls and unroll the dough into the bottom of your greased baking dish. Press the seams together to form a solid layer.
  5. Spread the sausage and cream cheese mixture evenly over the crescent roll layer.
  6. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the filling.
  7. Unroll the second can of crescent rolls and place it on top of the cheese layer. Press the seams together.
  8. Brush the top layer with melted butter (optional).
  9. Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and cooked through. Keep an eye on it to prevent over-browning.
  10. Allow the bake to cool for 5–10 minutes before slicing and serving. Enjoy warm!
