A bright, tart, and refreshingly icy blueberry lemonade slushie mocktail perfect for summer parties and gatherings. This easy recipe blends frozen blueberries and lemonade into a smooth, crowd-pleasing drink.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 cups (600g) frozen blueberries (wild or organic recommended)
  • 6 cups (1.4 liters) lemonade (good-quality, fresh-tasting like Simply Lemonade)
  • 2 tablespoons honey or agave syrup (optional, for sweetness)
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice (optional but recommended)
  • 2 cups (500g) ice cubes
  • Mint leaves (a handful, for garnish, optional)
  • Fresh blueberries (for garnish, optional)

Instructions

  1. Gather your ingredients: Measure out 4 cups (600g) of frozen blueberries, 6 cups (1.4 liters) of lemonade, 2 tablespoons of honey or agave syrup, 2 tablespoons of fresh lemon juice, and 2 cups (500g) of ice cubes.
  2. In your blender, combine the frozen blueberries and lemonade first. Blend on high for about 30 seconds or until the mixture is smooth but still thick enough to hold some body.
  3. Pour in the honey (or agave) and fresh lemon juice, then blend again for another 10 seconds. Taste and adjust sweetness if needed.
  4. Add the 2 cups of ice cubes to the blender. Pulse or blend on medium-high until the ice breaks down into a slushie texture, about 20-30 seconds.
  5. Check the texture and flavor. If too thick, add a splash of lemonade to loosen it up; if too thin, add more ice. Adjust sweetness or lemon juice as needed.
  6. Pour the slushie into a large pitcher or punch bowl and stir gently to even out the texture.
  7. Garnish with fresh blueberries and mint leaves. Serve immediately with straws or spoons.

Notes

Blend in stages to avoid over-processing and achieve the perfect slushie texture. Use frozen wild blueberries for better flavor and texture. If making ahead, store in the fridge and stir before serving, adding ice if needed. Garnish with mint and fresh blueberries for a fresh touch.
