Adorable Oreo Ghost Truffles coated in creamy white chocolate and decorated with ghostly faces, perfect for Halloween parties and fun family activities.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package Oreos (approximately 36 cookies)
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 12 ounces white chocolate chips or white chocolate baking bar
  • Black gel icing or melted dark chocolate for decorating
  • Optional: Sprinkles, candy eyes, or edible glitter

Instructions

  1. Place Oreos in a food processor and pulse until they form fine crumbs. Add softened cream cheese and blend until the mixture is smooth and fully combined.
  2. Scoop out tablespoon-sized portions of the mixture and roll them into balls. Place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet and chill in the refrigerator for 20-30 minutes, or until firm.
  3. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the white chocolate in 20-second intervals, stirring after each interval to prevent overheating. The chocolate should be smooth and glossy.
  4. Using a fork or skewer, dip each chilled truffle into the melted white chocolate, ensuring it’s fully coated. Place the coated truffles back on the parchment-lined baking sheet.
  5. Once the white chocolate has set (about 10-15 minutes), use black gel icing or melted dark chocolate to draw eyes and mouths on each truffle.
  6. Place the decorated truffles back in the fridge for another 15 minutes to ensure everything is set.
