These White Chocolate Ghost Oreo Truffles are adorable, easy to make, and delicious—perfect for Halloween parties or a spooky treat at home.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 36 Oreos (regular or double-stuffed)
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 2 cups white chocolate chips, melted
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil (optional)
  • Mini chocolate chips for decorating

Instructions

  1. Place the Oreos in a food processor and pulse until they form fine crumbs. Alternatively, place them in a resealable bag and crush with a rolling pin.
  2. Transfer the crumbs to a mixing bowl and add the softened cream cheese. Mix thoroughly until the texture is smooth and combined.
  3. Scoop out small portions of the mixture (about 1 tablespoon each) and roll them into balls. Place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  4. Chill the balls in the freezer for about 15-20 minutes to firm them up for easier dipping.
  5. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the white chocolate chips in 30-second intervals, stirring in between until smooth. Add a tablespoon of coconut oil if needed for a thinner consistency.
  6. Using a fork or toothpick, dip each ball into the melted white chocolate, ensuring it’s fully coated. Place back on the parchment paper.
  7. Before the chocolate sets, press two mini chocolate chips onto each truffle to create ghost eyes. Use a toothpick dipped in melted chocolate to draw little mouths.
  8. Place the decorated truffles back in the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes or until the chocolate hardens completely.

Notes

[‘Freezing the Oreo balls ensures they stay firm and don’t fall apart during the dipping process.’, ‘Use quality white chocolate for a smooth coating.’, ‘Adding a small amount of coconut oil to the melted chocolate helps create a thinner, glossy finish.’, ‘Work quickly as white chocolate sets fast.’, ‘Store the truffles in the refrigerator to maintain their shape and texture.’]
