These White Chocolate Oreo Ghost Truffles combine the crunch of Oreos, creamy white chocolate, and a playful Halloween twist for a festive and easy-to-make treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package of Oreos (approximately 36 cookies)
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 2 cups white chocolate chips
  • 1 teaspoon coconut oil (optional)
  • Mini chocolate chips or black icing for decoration

Instructions

  1. Place the Oreo cookies in a food processor and pulse until they form fine crumbs. Alternatively, use a ziplock bag and rolling pin to crush the cookies.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the Oreo crumbs with softened cream cheese. Mix until fully incorporated and the texture resembles sticky dough.
  3. Using a cookie scoop or spoon, form small balls of the Oreo mixture. Place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet and chill in the refrigerator for around 30 minutes.
  4. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the white chocolate chips in 15-second intervals, stirring in between, until smooth. Add a teaspoon of coconut oil for a glossy finish.
  5. Using a toothpick or fork, dip each chilled truffle into the melted white chocolate, ensuring it’s fully coated. Place them back on the parchment paper.
  6. While the chocolate is still wet, add mini chocolate chips or black icing to create ghostly eyes and mouths. Let them set at room temperature or refrigerate until firm.

Notes

[‘Chilling the truffles before dipping helps them hold their shape during coating.’, ‘White chocolate sets fast, so have your decorations ready before you start dipping.’, ‘Add coconut oil to the melted chocolate for a glossy finish.’, ‘Use tweezers or toothpicks for precise placement of ghostly features.’]
