white Christmas margarita recipe - featured image

A creamy, tangy, and slightly sweet festive twist on the classic margarita, blending tequila, coconut cream, and fresh lime juice for a perfect holiday cocktail.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 oz (60 ml) Tequila Blanco (100% agave)
  • 1 oz (30 ml) Coconut Cream
  • 1 oz (30 ml) Fresh Lime Juice
  • Optional: Coarse Sugar or Coconut Flakes for rimming
  • Optional: Lime Wheels or Fresh Mint for garnish

Instructions

  1. Chill your margarita glass in the freezer for about 10 minutes.
  2. Optional: Rim the glass by rubbing a lime wedge around the rim, then dip it into coarse sugar or coconut flakes on a plate. Set aside.
  3. Squeeze fresh limes to obtain 1 oz (30 ml) of juice. Strain to remove seeds and pulp if desired.
  4. Using a jigger, pour 2 oz (60 ml) tequila blanco and 1 oz (30 ml) coconut cream into a cocktail shaker.
  5. Add the freshly squeezed lime juice to the shaker.
  6. Fill the shaker halfway with ice cubes.
  7. Seal the shaker and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds until the shaker is cold.
  8. Strain the cocktail into the prepared glass using a fine strainer.
  9. Garnish with a lime wheel or a sprig of fresh mint.

Notes

Use fresh lime juice for best flavor. If coconut cream is too thick, stir or warm slightly before measuring. Shake vigorously for a velvety texture. Rimming the glass is optional but adds festive flair. Store mixed ingredients refrigerated up to 24 hours; add ice just before serving. Avoid reheating; serve chilled.
